DARREN BOYD

Darren Boyd is a multi-award winning actor and writer who has worked across TV, film and theatre for the last thirty years. Born and raised in Hastings, Boyd began his professional journey in 1996 when he moved to London to perform in ‘Les Miserables’ at the palace theatre, West End.

A move into television soon thereafter began an acting career now spanning three decades, taking Boyd all over the world and allowing him to work with some of the best in the business, for which he is forever grateful and inspired.

His formative years in Hastings, during which time he performed many times at The Stables Theatre as well as other local venues, were invaluable not only in terms of his creative and artistic growth, but also on a deeply personal level in terms of making the lifelong friendships he holds dear to this day. His return to the Stables Theatre in the role of patron is one he is both delighted and excited by, and he looks forward to this new relationship with the theatre and indeed the talented, innovative people within.
