Calling all Directors for the 28th July 2025

We are looking for 3 directors to help us with the 2026 Season. Could you be that person? Here at The Stables we have 3 plays that need directors for our own productions

The productions are…

‘Murder on the Nile’

‘Carabiners’ (the winner of The Stables New Writing Competition)by Glynn Carter

‘It’s a Wonderful Life’

If you feel you would like to direct one of these productions please show your interest and we will book you in for a slot to come and talk to us on the evening of the 28th July at The Stables.

How to apply…

If you feel you wish to undertake the directorship of one of these shows please contact

Ben Randall through Email papchair@stablestheatre.co.uk.  Indicating which show you are interested in directing.

We will then give you time slots for you to come and have a chat with us.

You will be asked some questions about the production you would like to do, so please have basic how and why’s you want to do one of these 3 productions.

Ideally we would like people to apply who have directed at the Stables Theatre before or have some good directing experience in Community Theatre.

Deadline for applications are 28th July.
