In Dublin, a city humming with possibility, Kat is starting over.   Between lost friends, stray cigarettes, and a handsome busker, she finds herself caught between who she was and who she might become. Helen Black is a storyteller, teacher, and theatre maker. She has performed her writing at events including The Moth, Shambala Festival, and Seanoiche, and hosts Story Club at Hastings Writers Workshop. ‘A Dublin Story’ will be performed at the Brighton Fringe in May.

At The Stables Theatre, Helen has appeared in Home I’m Darling and First Bus to Ballinabeg, and directed Every Brilliant Thing in 2023. A Dublin Story first appeared in The Stables last year with Hastings Theatre Project and a version of the piece was performed at the theatre in December.
