The Stables Art Gallery is delighted to announce our very first Summer Exhibition, celebrating the breadth and diversity of artistic talent here in East Sussex.

This year’s theme is open, encouraging submissions from both new artists and our wonderful community of regular exhibitors. If you’ve been waiting for the right moment to share your work with us, this is it.

Exhibition open: 27 July – 26 September 2026
Artwork delivery: Sunday 26 July, 11:00–12:00
Meet the Artists event: Saturday 1 August, 11:00–13:00
Collection of unsold work: Sunday 27 September, 10:00–11:00

Email artgallery@stablestheatre.co.uk with the subject line “Summer Exhibition”.

Sale price (inclusive of 35% commission)
Additional Information

The exhibition and associated events will be promoted on the Stables Theatre and Arts Centre website, in our newsletters, and across our social media channels. Details of the exhibition will additionally be circulated to local and national press, with invitations to attend and opportunities for interviews where appropriate.

A limited number of printed A4 posters can be provided for artists who wish to distribute physical copies.

A commission of 35% will be applied to all works sold. The Gallery is staffed at all times, and all sales are handled exclusively by Front Desk staff. Major card payments are accepted.

The Gallery covers the cost of design and production of printed posters and digital materials, insurance for exhibited works, and CCTV security throughout the exhibition period. There is no fee to exhibit your work.
