Well it looks like third time lucky for The Stables and we will be re-opening for our December season. Booking for ‘It’s A Wonderful Life’, ‘Leading Ladies’ and ‘May I Have a Festive Moment’ will open on 4th December and will be by phone only, 01424 423221, A message can be left on the answerphone with ticket request and a member of the box office team will call you back.

Attending Performances at the Stables Theatre.

Booking for this show will close the day before the performance to allow us time to produce a guest list with your booking requirements and the ‘track and trace’ details required. (Which will be destroyed after 21 days)

The box office will not be open the evening of the show. Our Front of House team will be at the Theatre to welcome you.

In Line with ‘Tier Two’ restrictions the bar will NOT be open for these shows.

The event will be a single act and approximately 60/75 minutes in length

There will be no interval

Audience members/ guests will be asked a number of symptom based questions and may have their temperature checked on arrival. If there is any cause for concern you will be asked not to attend the performance and the cost of your ticket will be refunded within 7 days.

As far as possible there will be a one way system throughout the theatre. Please follow this. Areas of the building may be closed to audience members except in the case of emergency and the need to evacuate the theatre.

In Line with ‘Tier Two’ restrictions, Masks must be worn at all times at the theatre (Unless you have an exemption – it would be helpful if you would advise us of this when booking)

There will be reduced toilet facilities.

We hope these added precautions will make you feel safe when visiting the Stables and that you are able to relax and enjoy the performance.

‘Lockdown the Pandemic’ playing once again at The Stables

We are very sad to announce that the Stables Theatre and Arts Centre will be closing from Thursday, for four weeks, in line with Government guidelines. This will mean the postponement of our November programme, booking for these productions will not open as planned. 

The Theatre is already working with the affected productions to rearrange dates. 

We are still expecting our December programme to go ahead as planned,

The Stables would like to acknowledge and thank volunteers and performers for the huge amount of work undertaken to get the theatre to this point. 

Please keep well and safe, The Stables will reopen.
