Punched
by John Knowles

‘Punched’ the rise and fall of a working class archetype.

Recently unemployed Punch & Judy performer, Punched, descends into a life of drugs, alcohol and abuse, seeking redemption, he finds instead that he is forced into a life of repetitive destructive actions. Based on an original script from 1846, with a rich and eccentric singular voice, Punched explores white-male-working-class-anger and the lack of any redemption in a judgemental society. This lyrical and powerful performance pulls no punches!
