Attention all playwrights (or aspiring playwrights):

Due to the overwhelming response and success of our first endeavour into co producing a new play for the stage, the Stables Theatre is now accepting new play submissions, of which at least one will be performed at the Stables Theatre in 2021.  The only criteria is that the play must not have ever been performed in public and you have not previously submitted it to the Stables Theatre.  Both one-act and full length plays will be accepted.  The deadline is midnight on 04-May is 2020.

Plays should be submitted in either WORD or PDF format.  Please send to Tim Kendrick:  tim63@earthlink.net

During the summer a small play reading committee will meet and that group will choose two plays from all those submitted.  These two plays will then be given a public reading at The Stables in either late 2020 or early 2021, with a full-blown production scheduled for at least one of the two in late 2021.  (If you would like to join our new play reading committee, please also email Tim Kendrick with your interest.)
