FELL will be a radical ensemble production which creates a late nineteenth century upper class household and its patriarchal values, which only money, manners, irrepressible lust and sporadic goodness can soften. Inspired by ‘The Tenant of Wildfell Hall’ by Anne Brontë, the novel follows a familiar Brontë theme of attempted redemption of a damaged love interest by wholesome woman who learns a lot in the process.

No knowledge of the original text required.

Led by the team that developed 2022’s sell out Macbeth: Frances Viner director/writer, Sam Sharples videographer, Keith Rodway music, joined by Patrick Kealey dramaturg. Full production provisionally planned for 2024.
You will need your mobile phones and a hard boiled egg.
