The Pilgrim Plays

The Pilgrim Plays chart the journey of an outcast and a fool who – struggling to find love, fleeing from death and, all the while, being moo’d upon by cows – faces the ultimate question; can he become our most unlikely hero?

Following a year of development here at the Stables, with the guidance and support of the National Theatre’s Development Studio and now with costume designs by the two-time Bafta and six-time Emmy Award winning Michele Clapton, Chris’ trilogy has evolved into its final form; The full-length Pilgrim Plays.

To make this excellent work of new writing open to as many people as possible – we will be presenting the Wednesday evening show on a ‘Pay What You Feel’ basis.  See the show and afterwards – pay what you feel it was worth to you.
